Overall, we aim for privacy by default: if data collection is not integral to the way our product works, then we won’t collect it.

At any time, you may request your information to be exported and sent to you for review, and we will promptly honor any requests by you to have your information deleted and forgotten.

When you contact us, the personal data you provide (name, email address, date and content of the message) is captured. This information is used for customer service purposes only. We do not use your information for marketing purposes. Your information is private and not shared, except where you have given your expressed permission.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

This website uses tracking software (Google Analytics) to monitor its visitors to better understand how they use it. Who we share your data with

  • We use PayPal and Stripe to process all payments. Any credit card information entered on this site is encrypted and processed by Stripe.
  • We operate a mailing list using Digital Access Pass (DAP). When you sign up for a paid membership, you are added to a mailing list managed by DAP software on our website. (If you are from a country where GDPR applies, you will be asked to give your consent to be added to this mailing list.) This mailing list is used to send you news, Blogs, and special offers. You can unsubscribe to the mailing list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of each email sent.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile (your name, email address, etc.). All users can see and edit their personal information at any time through the My Profile page. Website administrators can also see and edit that information. We will delete your account and personal information upon your request this when you contact us.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments are checked by an automated spam detection service called Akismet.
